After contacting Alastair Campbell, who describes himself as ‘Writer, communicator, strategist, used to be Tony Blair’s spokesman, now my own,’ in order to see if he might help us to raise awareness of our upcoming website Soberistas.com, he kindly suggested that we write a guest post on his blog. Alastair uploaded our post this morning and you can read it by following the link below. Thank you for your support Alastair!
Taking back control, it really is so important. I got into a mess a few years back and was essentially forced to be sober. Never had I so much clarity in my life. I did a lot of growing. More recently, I’ve half way slide back into my old habits, but not forever. That I can assure you. Keep up the good work. You are making a difference in people’s lives, and that can’t be a bad thing.
Hi there,
Thanks for your supportive message. I hope you can get back on track, and find your way back to that place of clarity where you obviously enjoyed being. It is so hard to break old habits, but I’m really glad that you feel that we are making a difference – keep reading, and if you are looking for extra support, then keep an eye out for our website, Soberistas.com which will be a networking site for people who want to quit (or seriously moderate) drinking. It’s launching November 2012. Keep going, sounds like you are doing great 🙂
I came to you from Alistair Campbell’s blog – I tend to trust things he supports. Very glad I found you and hope to be able to tell more people about you!
Thanks Liz, I’m really pleased that you are enjoying our blog. Great to know – thanks for taking the time to let us know what you think!
